We partner with Greenwood School District to have bus transportation from each school to our facility.
Once the students arrive, they check-in through the lobby and are free to play, or visit any program.
Cubbies were installed the summer of 2019 to ensure each student a place to keep any items they might bring with them.
Each day we provide our students with a snack and drink. Simple things like animal crackers and pretzels.
The gym is the first thing our students encounter. This is where many of them hang out, play basketball, tag, or even just talk.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, our gym monitor invites all of our students to play a game. This is normally games like four square, tag, captain, basketball, and many more.
Once the students are here, we allow them to do as they please. However we do have a quiet place to study and do homework. We also have a staff member available to help with any questions.
In August of 2019 we introduced a Spanish class to our students every Tuesday. This allows one of our college age staff to teach the students a foreign language.
Each week our students get to make a different craft. Anything from Christmas ornaments to hand puppets, and we have relaxed days of coloring.
Students can create cars, houses, or whatever thy can think of in our Lego Room. Here students of all ages come together to build all sorts of things.
Some students like to have a more relaxed day, and hang out in our games room. Here they can play board games, giant connect four, or just talk.
